Community members are organizing a candlelight vigil for this Wednesday, 6/15, in memory of the lives lost at Pulse in Orlando. We will meet in front of Northampton City Hall and come together in solidarity, mourning, and respect for the various communities affected by this tragedy: most particularly, the LGBT / Latinx / Muslim community/ies.
We will be providing candles to attendees, which we will light together. The event will feature speeches and performances by members from the above communities, in an attempt to amplify the voices of those affected and call all attendees to be present and together in the space.
We will have on-site counseling, courtesy of Safe Passage.
Thank you for your support; we hope to see you there. Keep an eye on this page for any changes or developments.
